Our Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one and only one living and true God; that in the unity of the Godhead there is three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the devil, or Satan, is an actual person, and not an imaginary influence.

We believe that the Bible is God’s holy word; that it is the final and complete revelation of God’s will to man; that every word is inspired, and it is preserved to us in the King James Version of 1611.

We believe that the Genesis record of creation is literally true.

We believe that man fell from his original, perfect state by disobeying God; that as a result, all mankind is now inclined toward evil and condemned to eternal separation from God in hell.

We believe that Jesus Christ is begotten of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner and born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man, and that He is the Son of God and God the Son.

We believe that eternal salvation is received by repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, requiring no works on the part of man.

We believe that lost sinners must be born again in order to be saved.

We believe that a born-again Christian cannot lose his salvation: once saved, always saved.

We believe that every believer should follow the Lord in baptism and as a faithful member of one of the Lord’s churches, live a life separated from the sin of this world.

We believe that Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave on the first day of the week, and ascended to the right hand of God after forty days.

We believe that Jesus is coming again personally to take all of the saved out of this world at the Rapture.

We believe that seven years of tribulation will then take place upon the earth.

We believe that Jesus will then establish His kingdom upon the earth for a thousand years.

We believe that those who believe on Jesus Christ are heirs of eternal life in heaven, and that those who do not are condemned to hell.

We believe that Jesus began the church during his earthly ministry; that it is composed of scripturally baptized believers; that its purpose is to carry out the Great Commission; that it is the only authority for doing God’s work in this age; that the ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe that God has reserved intimate sexual activity for marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that human life begins at conception, and that the unborn child is a living human being.
